GRAPHIC DESIGNER IINY, NY

The Graphic Designer II role is to support the creative department in a wide range of design, production and administrative duties.
Key Accountabilities:
  • Handling multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced print design environment.
  • Marketing projects you will be working directly on promotional ads, spirit menus, mailers, e-blasts, custom presentations, event signage and collateral. This position is primarily print design. Any web development capabilities are a plus.
  • Print design of various projects (from creative brief to completion)
  • Print production (design file and photo prep, ordering stock photography, color correcting, scanning, retouching
  • Project management
  • Collaborate with creative & art director, project managers, clients and vendors
Qualifications/Skills:
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, In Design) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Web design knowledge a plus (not required)
  • Strong layout design skills including color sense, typography and ability to suit solution to objective
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to take direction a willingness to learn.

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT/GENERAL MANAGER – NYC, NY

The purpose of the Executive Assistant’s role is to provide provides administrative support to the EVP/General Manager, as needed to ensure the efficient implementation of marketing strategies designed to increase exposure of the Bad Boy Worldwide Entertainment Group brands.  Serve as key administrator translating EVP/GM requests and indirect requirements into achievable goals and managing the process through which these objectives are met, in a timely manner and with high performance standards.
Key Accountabilities:
  • Manage and prioritize incoming and outgoing communications, including internal and external mail, telephone calls and reports; Day-to-day support.
  • Compiles and distributes marketing information to potential clients.
  • Complete expense reports.
  • Organize meetings; maintain calendars and flow of communication in and out of executive office.
  • Prepare daily schedule for EVP/GM.
  • Anticipate potential issues regarding calendar, meeting preparation, needs of individuals involved, meeting requests and telephone calls which require EVP/GM attention; ensure there are no conflicts. (Protect EVP/GM calendar and be strategic with time).
  • Engage in problem-solving with own tasks: handle tasks of emergency nature by monitoring minute by minute developments; keep all pertinent parties apprised.
  • Detail Management: Track a tremendous amount of details (scheduling, travel arrangements, etc.)
  • Create and edit correspondence and presentations with minimal direction.
  • Organize presentations for internal and external meetings.
  • Stationery preparation (business cards, pencils, collaterals etc)
  • Process departmental invoices.
  • Assists in the preparation and collection of operating reports, including but not limited to invoices, expense reports and budget expenditures.

ART DIRECTOR

The purpose of the Art Director’s role is to design art and copy layouts for all creative orders and specs as requested across board for all brands.
Key Accountabilities:
  • Create and design advertising art based on client specification.
  • Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, selects style and size of type, and arranges layout based upon available space and aesthetic design concepts.
  • Print sample of finished layout and presents sample to Creative Director for approval.
  • Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts.
  • Review final layouts and suggest improvements as needed.
  • Develop graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and internet websites.
  • Prepare illustrations or rough sketches of material, discussing them with clients and/or supervisors and making necessary changes.
  • Study illustrations and photographs to plan presentation of materials, products, or services.
  • Prepare notes and instructions for vendors who assemble and prepare final layouts for printing.
  • Distributing and organizing of finished campaign materials inside and outside the company.
Qualifications/Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree (A.A.) in a related field of study from two-year/four-year College or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, In Design) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Web design knowledge a plus (not required)
