As part of our commitment to the Public Relations industry, Taylor focuses on nurturing talent to encourage them to choose a career in public relations and marketing. Each year, we enthusiastically host student interns across all of the Taylor offices. We continue to look for students who are eager to learn, motivated to succeed, and are passionate about an internship that will put them on a successful career path.
Interns at Taylor receive hands-on experience and have the opportunity to be a member of designated account teams as well as to work directly with senior members of the organization. We have a detailed curriculum for interns to learn and experience a variety of aspects of the public relations business gaining exposure to areas such as:
- Research and Measurement
- Media Relations
- media outreach
- media list development
- satellite media tours
- press conferences
- develop press releases
- Video production and in-studio client appearances
- Participate in creative brainstorm sessions and strategy sessions
- Assist with event planning
- New business research and preparation
As an entrepreneurial mid-size agency, Taylor seeks candidates who are eager to learn about our business and are interested in a collegial yet stimulating environment. We are seeking strategic thinkers with excellent oral and written communication skills, intellectually curious and a firm commitment to the profession. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is a must.
The program is a full-time commitment based upon the needs each semester of each Taylor office.
